Laura has over 20 years of experience in the residential sector of Sales and Lettings in Northern Ireland. 9 of those years spent particular focus on residential lettings and over the past 7 years has had particular focus on sales, investment strategies and the land and new homes market.

Laura has a particular knowledge base of the changing markets with regards to investing in property and is able to advise on the changing styles in New build developments to include layouts and density, housing mix and pricing.

Laura has a wealth of local area knowledge which she uses to ascertain the best strategies when it comes to house pricing and sales motives. Her passion for property drives her to build client relations providing honest advice for all clients to reach their goals.

Janet has 20 years' experience working for communications companies in a variety of senior solution sales and director positions. It was through this experience that she realised the importance of putting the customer at the heart of every business decision and transaction.

This is the very cornerstone that Cairns and Downing Sales & Lettings is built upon.

Janet is responsible for the Business Development function of the business along with ensuring that the customer journey is best in class.

Having been a landlord for many years and continuing to add to her own portfolio, Janet understands the needs of landlords and is keen to help them maximise profitability from their portfolios while ensuring seamless and expert management.

Mark is a valued Team member who started Cairns & Downing Estate Agents in March 2025 as our Residential Lettings & Property Manager. Mark graduated from Leeds Metropolitan College with a degree in Business.

Although not a property degree, he has always had a strong interest in this area and his attention to detail has allowed him to excel within our rentals team. As well as bringing new and exciting rental properties onto the market Mark manages the day to day management of the portfolio to the highest of standards making sure that each tenant is checked in and checked out and everything covered in-between.
